Barbara Grygutis’ new studio pictured spring 2022

After 30 years in downtown Tucson, in 2022 Barbara Grygutis constructed a new studio in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Located at 2415 E. Avenida de Posada, the new space enjoys stunning views of the native Sonoran Desert and the Santa Catalina Mountain range.

The studio includes a large fabrication shop with ample open design space and an abundance of natural light.

The new studio building was designed by architect Frank Mascia, with balconies, custom railings and interior elements designed, fabricated, and installed by the artist.
