Nine sculptures: 14’-16’H x 5’W each sculpture

These iconic sculptures, inspired by the forms of desert flora, stand as totems throughout the new Marina Heights light rail station. Fabricated with aluminum, the sculptures echo the surrounding contemporary vibe of the buildings in the Marina Heights Development, adjacent to Tempe Town Lake. Perforations inspired by natural forms cast evolving shadow patterns throughout the day and are illuminated in the evening to create a welcoming placemaking feature for the station around the clock.
