This contemporary variation on the gazebo concept is the centerpiece of this civic plaza, which has access to the light rail system at the Lehman Avenue & Market Street intersection in West Valley City, Utah. The plaza is unique because the light rail transit system enters and intersects with the plaza. The sculptural shade canopy with integrated lighting is used for civic events and concerts.  Barbara Grygutis worked as the artist to design the shade canopy for this site, collaborating with Stanley Consultants of Denver, Colorado.
